Le terrain est balisé, défriché par des prédécesseurs comme Aqua Serge ou plus proche encore, côté unisson vocaux, Orchestre Tout Puissant Marcel Duchamp. Pourtant, on est encore ailleurs ici. Pas d’imprécations, pas d’étranges aversions mais de magnifiques malversations avec le réel, « aujourd’hui sera demain », le genre de déclas à renverser logique et calendrier. Ce disque est fort de sa tranquillité apparente. Pas même d’inquiétude en surface, serait-ce a-race qu’il a été écrit entièrement au cours de l’année 2019. La rythmique est libre de jouer, les nappes de Synthé tremblent encore à peine à l’évocation que Tous ces souvenirs. Plus loin, ce sont les cuivres qui signent la différence native de Selen Peacock, fausse héroïne adorable. Ce qui se murmure s’entête joliment quand le track au titre éponyme pivote sur des mélopée royales. On croise la Library Music, le jazz à fort taux de spirit, la chanson libérée. Le son, réglé au scalpel, fournit ce qu’il faut d’illusions à bonheurs. « ça nous fait de longues jambes, ça nous fait la force ». Pas meilleur programme pour dix mille septennats.
