Mais au printemps 2020, quand débarque de Chine, le Covid puis les confinements consécutifs, qu’en est-il du social ? Qu’est-ce qu’on fait seul, chez soi avec un instrument ? En décembre 2020, après une année qui nous aura imposé deux confinements les 7 musiciens jouaient. En marge de leurs solos, LeBloc était descendu dans le caveau de musique pour savoir comment chacun pouvait s’accommoder de ces contraintes. La musique de Laura Perrudin, pourrait s’apparenter à une musique de soin ou de catharsis minuscule et intime, un peu comme un Bauke Mollema remontant le Ventoux hors saison pour conjurer le sort. Ici, dans cette conjuration harpée dansent des fantasmes et des fantômes, flotte l’impermanence et qu’élues choix rugueux qui nous attendent tous un peu au tournant. Avec la souplesse classieuse des autodidactes assumés, le pianiste fond la dignité de vie et le principe de liberté qui irrigue les peuples de Guadeloupe et de Martinique dans le bouillon des apôtres du bop cités ici. Charlie Parker, Baden Powell et forcément Monk.Soft bascule transatlantique, direction Afrique de l’Ouest et la Cartonnerie. C’est la médiane tracée par Kenny Garett à la recherche des ses Ancestors. Du point A au point B traversent fantômes souvenirs, thèmes jouant comme des sales gosses, gospel et travées d’église. Garett joue clean et joue neat.
