7 times Spielberg. It’s totally classy, right ? Seven times better than Jaws, 7 Jaws releases a first album. And it bites! After 3 projects, and a growing hype, it was time for the rapper to release Je vois les couleurs. Yet, as he told last week to Première Pluie, “The word album makes it scary.” Indeed. But making the sound of an album is a nice attempt. Daring to do new things. And that’s what 7 jaws did. Quietly. Here, we face to several colors. Isn’t it clear? The colors, for us, wrecked by music, can be atmospheres, instrumentals, texts or flows. And here, that’s all we have. S Klasse, Tchilili et Par le vent reward rap, pop and singing. Jaws is accompanied by Sneezy, his beatmaking homie. Thus there is a style for everyone. In Alsace Lorraine, there is not only the little Gregory murder but also these two pretty alive boi. Paradox ? Not sure, rather the possibility to balance the forces. « Si t’es pas carré, tu vas te faire éliminer ». It works. For the newness, there are Enfance, Sale état…which we were not used to and which we take in full on our windshield. Of course, there is the dose of kicked tracks with powerful voice and sharp flows. It cuts like a razor blade held by the Shelby bros on Peaky Blinders. Then it’s 15 tales tracks, all accompanied by 3 feats. Vald, Big flo and Captain Roshi synchronized their pens to paint this first picture. And it is beautiful.
7 fois Spielberg. C’est carrément classe, non ? Sept fois mieux que Jaws, 7 Jaws sort un premier album mordant. Déjà 3 projets, et une hype grandissante, c’était le moment pour le rappeur de sortir Je vois les couleurs. Il confiait pourtant la semaine dernière à Première Pluie, «Le mot album, il fait flipper». Oui. Mais fabriquer le son d’un album, c’est tenter. Oser de nouvelles choses. Et c’est ce que 7 jaws a fait. Tranquillement. Ici, on a droit à plusieurs couleurs. Dit comme ça c’est vague ? Les couleurs, pour nous, bousillés de musique, c’est les ambiances d’un projet, les instrus, les textes, les flows. Et ici, c’est tout ce qu’on a. S Klasse, Tchilili et Par le vent arrosent comme il faut : rap, pop, chant. Jaws est accompagné par Seezy, gars sûr du beatmaking. Il y a de la sauce pour tout le monde. En Moselle, il y a Nadine Morano mais aussi ces deux gadjos. Paradoxe ? Pas sûr, plutôt la possibilité d’équilibrer les forces. « Si t’es pas carré, tu vas te faire éliminer ». Ça marche.
Pour les nouveautés, il y a Enfance ou encore Sale état dont on avait pas l’habitude et qu’on se prend en plein sur le pare-brise de la tchope. Bien entendu, il y a la dose de morceaux kickés avec voix puissante et flows bien aiguisés. Ça découpe telle une lame de rasoir tenue par les Shelby brotha sur Peaky Blinders. Puis c’est 15 sons pour raconter un passé de galérien, le tout accompagné de 3 gros feats. Vald, Big flo et Captain Roshi sont venus synchroniser leurs stylos et peindre ce premier tableau. Et c’est beau.
