France-Galles, troisième du nom. Mieux que des sucettes à l’anis, mieux qu’un 41-28 en fin des 6 Nations. Voici une transverse Brest/Pays de Galles où évoluent Boris Boublil, leader-rêveur de ce Mù de 9 âmes bien faites, et John Parish, premier des seconds rideaux du post-rock depuis une paire d’années. Le premier a ciselé les partitions de ce 93 Manifesto, le second en a remanié le son et les atmosphères. Sort de cet entrelacs 11 plages, intenses, languides et nonchalantes. Boublil nomme cela « mélancolie positive », c’est pas mal, c’est joli comme idée. Ajoutons, si on doit ajouter quoi que ce soit à un rêve fait mille fois par son auteur, « élégie impatiente ». L’âme a, ici, ce qu’il convient de bleu à tout artisan-poète mais, il y a aussi du noir, du clair-obscur, dans la noise réfractaire de El Dia De Los Muertos par exemple. Il y le cuivre solaire de la danse imparable des Penguins, aussi. Et dix autres, et cent autres climats et couleurs. Qu’ils soient dûs à des gens qu’on aiment beaucoup ici, Morgane Carnet, Robin Fincker, Sacha Toorop, qu’ils soient le fait de cet assemblage imparable après l’écoute des 11 titres façonnés, avec un soin audible, aux gallois studios Rockfield. Là, où on peut voir, parait-il les berges d’une France rêveuse et positive, aperçues sur Bristol Hotel.
